Available accessibility features

• Keyboard navigation and clearly visible keyboard focus.
• A persistent accessibility menu for text size, comfortable spacing, high contrast, and reduced motion.
• Device-based text-to-speech controls for course pages.
• Text alternatives for classroom images and text-based teacher guides.
• Video scripts, transcripts, caption guidance, and titled presentation embeds.
• Untimed assessments and labs with text feedback that does not rely on color alone.
• Printable resources with equivalent web content.
• Privacy-first public student learning that does not require a student account.

Known limitations

Some embedded Google Slides, YouTube players, Stripe checkout screens, and other third-party content are controlled by their providers and may behave differently with assistive technology. Browser-generated PDF files may not preserve every semantic feature of the equivalent HTML page. Device-based text-to-speech voice availability and quality vary by operating system and browser.

Older course materials may need additional review as new images, slide decks, and videos are added. We are reviewing content and authoring tools so accessibility information is included before publication.

Assessment approach

Automated checks are combined with keyboard testing, zoom and reflow testing, contrast review, reduced-motion testing, and screen-reader-oriented review. Automated tools can identify common issues but cannot establish complete accessibility on their own.
