Privacy Notice

Ethical AI Classroom is operated by Forge Learning Tech LLC. This notice explains the information used by the public student courses and the optional account-based learning service.

Public student courses

The no-account student courses do not ask for or submit a learner’s name, email address, answers, or progress to Ethical AI Classroom. Page completion and assessment results are saved in the learner’s own browser storage. The learner enters a name only when generating a printable certificate, and that name is rendered in the browser rather than sent to our database.

Clearing browser data, changing browsers, or changing devices may remove public-course progress. Public certificates are not identity-verified, stored, searchable, or replaceable by us.

Account-based courses

When a learner chooses a logged certificate, we collect the account email address, certificate name, course enrollment, page and module progress, assessment answers and scores, certificate record, consent choices, and relevant security and email-delivery records. We use this information to provide the course, secure the account, issue and retrieve certificates, send requested service messages, and operate the learning platform.

Student age choices

Individual account-based student access is not offered to children under 13. Learners age 13–17 must affirm that a parent or guardian has given permission. A school may assign logged access, including for a learner under 13, only after an authorized adult school administrator confirms the organization’s authority and responsibility for applicable parent-consent and student-privacy requirements.

School-managed accounts and licenses

School administrators provide school names and learner email addresses when creating rosters and assigning courses. We record the school membership, order or purchase-order status, license pool, assigning administrator, assigned email, course access, and assignment time. Paid license assignments are retained as non-transferable purchase and access records. Schools may request access to or deletion of student information as permitted by applicable law and subject to limited payment, security, certificate, and audit records that must be retained.

Public verification

A logged certificate’s public verification page displays the certificate name, course title, course version, assessment score, issue date, and certificate ID. It does not display the learner’s email address. Public-course printable certificates have no verification page.

Service providers and data use

We use Cloudflare to host the site and database and may use Resend-compatible email delivery and Stripe for adult-paid individual and school license purchases. Stripe receives purchaser and transaction information but is not sent course progress or assessment answers. Student information is not sold, used for behavioral advertising, or used to train commercial AI models by Ethical AI Classroom.

The development disclosure above does not mean that public-course progress, assessment answers, or certificate names are submitted to those AI tools through this website. The public track remains browser-only as described in this notice.

Retention and choices

Account records are retained while needed to provide the service, preserve requested credentials, meet security and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Learners or guardians may request access, correction, certificate revocation, or deletion by emailing learn@ethicalaiclassroom.com. Some limited records may be retained when required for security, payment, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Security and contact

We use access controls, encrypted transport, protected session cookies, administrative verification, and audit records. No system can guarantee absolute security. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to learn@ethicalaiclassroom.com.
