Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Ethical AI Classroom, operated by Forge Learning Tech LLC. By creating an account or using an account-based course, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility for student certificates

Individual account-based student access requires the learner to be at least 13. Learners age 13–17 also need permission from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 may use public no-account learning with appropriate adult guidance or access a logged course assigned through an authorized school account. The school administrator confirms that the organization is authorized to provide the educational service and will follow applicable parent-consent and student-privacy requirements.

Account responsibility

You must provide an email address you are authorized to use, protect sign-in codes and sessions, and provide accurate age and permission confirmations. Do not share access or impersonate another person. A certificate name should represent the learner who completed the course.

Learning and certificates

Public printable certificates are generated from learner-entered information and are not identity-verified or stored by Ethical AI Classroom. Logged certificates record completion and assessment results and may be publicly verified by certificate ID. We may correct or revoke a logged certificate obtained through misrepresentation, unauthorized access, assessment manipulation, or other misuse.

School licenses and purchasing

School administrators may assign free courses without a license limit and purchase paid licenses through Stripe or an approved purchase-order process. Volume pricing is calculated from the number of seats in one order. A paid seat is permanently consumed when assigned to a learner and cannot be revoked, transferred, or reused for another person. School administrators are responsible for reviewing quantities and email addresses before assignment. Purchase-order licenses are released only after Forge Learning Tech confirms the applicable payment or approved arrangement.

Acceptable use

Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, automate abusive traffic, upload malicious material, interfere with another learner, or use the service unlawfully. Course content may be used for personal and school learning but may not be republished, sold, or represented as another provider’s course without written permission.

Educational scope

The courses provide general educational information, not medical, mental-health, legal, or other professional advice. Learners should involve a trusted, qualified person when a situation is personal, consequential, or safety-related.

Course and site materials may include human-reviewed AI assistance. You remain responsible for applying the material appropriately and checking current primary guidance when decisions are consequential.

Availability and changes

We may update courses, assessments, features, and these terms; prevent abuse; suspend accounts; or discontinue a course. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and may require renewed acceptance for account-based student courses.

Disclaimer and limitation

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We work to keep content accurate and the service reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every course statement will remain current. To the extent permitted by law, Forge Learning Tech LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
