People Come First: AI, Feelings, and Relationships

This lesson focuses on the social-emotional side of conversational AI. Students learn why a chatbot can feel friendly, why simulated empathy is different from a real relationship, and why important emotional, health, safety, and relationship problems belong with trusted people. The lesson does not shame students for being curious about conversational AI. Instead, it builds a simple human-first habit: use humans for human problems.
